WHDH-TV has reported that two Massachusetts teens have been arrested and another has recently turned himself in following a brutal rape of a 16-year-old girl that was recorded and then broadcasted via SnapChat, a social networking application that records and plays videos for a short time before they erase.

The 16-year-old victim has no memory of what happened to her as she was allegedly assaulted and drugged by the three teens behind a local elementary school, WHDH-TV reported.

“What they did was disgusting, it was sick, (and) I almost lost my daughter. She was barely breathing she was found with nothing on. She had fingerprints — at least two hands held down by her throat, her breasts were bruised, her whole body was ripped, (and) shredded, (with) broken toes,” her mother said.

A friend recognized the girl in the video and notified police according to the authorities. They then found the girl unconscious and  had to be carried from the scene.

The girl was later hospitalized for her injuries.

Police have arrested two of the teens, a 17-year-old and an 18-year-old, with a third suspect, 19-year-old Rashad Deihim, having turned himself in to Newburyport Police on Saturday.

Deihim was charged with assault with intent to rape, kidnapping, indecent assault and battery on a person 14 or older, and posing or exhibiting a child in a sexual act.

Deihim’s girlfriend, Kailyn Bonia, pleaded not guilty to rape, indecent assault and battery on a person 14 or over, and kidnapping. Bonia was arraigned and  ordered held without the right to bail at MCI-Framingham as a dangerous person. The other suspect was charged as a juvenile with dissemination of child porn and assault to rape as he is alleged teen who videotaped the entire attack.

Police were able to find and locate the teen victim because of the SnapChat video. Police and volunteers were able to view the video and knowing the area, were able to find the unconscious and incoherent teenager.
