Lots of people fall prey to the adage “all the best things in life are free”, and this is especially true in the case of falling in love.
Love could just be one of the most amazing feelings and experiences in life. It’s a great ride just walking this earth, not knowing where to go, and then all of a sudden, you meet the man or woman of your dreams.
Having experienced all the pleasant, but expensive things in this world, it’s great to know that you found someone that’s even more wonderful than all the riches combined. Want to know the best part? It costs absolutely nothing. That’s love, but at some point you’re going to have take that love to the next level. You and your significant other are going to have to marry.
One of these days, you’re going to walk this earth, no longer confused about which route to take, but completely aware of your destination. You’ll be walking towards a place where you can find all the peripherals, instruments, and venues for your wedding planning in Manila.
If you and your significant other are planning to take your wedding to Manila, then chances are you’re in a tight budget. Why? Everything in Manila is expensive, from food catering to wedding gowns, they’re all going to cause you a few thousand pesos.
The wisest thing to do is to stick to your budget. Going overboard with your budget may give you some things to regret about in the near future.
One question remains, though. How do you plan a wedding when you’re in a tight budget? Read on to find out.
Do the planning yourself
It may sound nice to have someone to do the planning for you. It really is quite tempting to just handover an empty check to some random wedding planner, but that’s just going to add up to the expenses that you don’t even need.
Don’t get me wrong. It can be quite fancy to have someone you can call your wedding planner, but if you come to think about, you really are the only one who knows what you want your wedding to look like, not anybody else. That being said, planning your wedding really is the wisest way to go.
List down your priorities
It’s easy for you to get carried away by all things that can make your wedding wonderful, but remember that you have a budget to stick to. That being said, you have to know your priorities, because that is where you should expend the bulk of your budget.
I know someone who made the mistake of spending on all the things his eyes could set on. In the end, he barely had enough to cover for all important expenses. I don’t know what happened to him after, but the point is, you shouldn’t be this guy.
Be smart. Know your priorities before you start spending. After you’ve taken care of all the necessities, then you can use whatever remains for any spending you want.
